Treatment Planning and Level of Care Placement for The Substance Abusing Client

The first treatment planning principle is that clients will do best when there is a comprehensive effort to address their needs. By recognizing and addressing the client’s needs in a variety of domains (e.g. medical, legal, psychiatric, etc.) treatment programs demonstrate to the client that they acknowledge their client’s concerns and are interested in working with the client towards solutions. In addition, when a client is laced in the correct level of care their current needs are addressed in the appropriate manner.  This workshop will address treatment planning process for substance abuse clients, and overview of the ODADAS levels of care. 6 CEUs & RCHs (C)
