What Is An EAP?
Ø EAP is supported by your employer and devoted to helping people do the best job they can.
Ø EAP is a benefit to you as an employee as well as your immediate family, whose personal problems are affecting your sense of well being and/or your job performance
Ø EAP is available to help by discussing possible solutions and resources to address identified problems.
Ø EAP services are private and confidential, in accordance with state laws and institutional policies.
Ø Although there is no cost for EAP services, there may be fees associated with other services and resources to which you may be referred. In many cases, your health insurance will defray the cost of care.
