Moore Counseling is staffed with DOT Specimen Collectors and Breath Alcohol Technicians (BAT). A collector is a person who instructs and assists individuals at a collection site, who receives and makes an initial inspection of the specimen provided , and who initiates and completes the Chain of Custody Form.
The BAT is a person who instructs and assists individuals in the alcohol testing process and operates an evidential breath testing device. The BAT plays a vital role in the success of the DOT alcohol testing program. The BAT directly interacts with the individual and instantaneously provides them with an alcohol test result. As such, the BAT must be knowledgeable and proficient in the testing procedures.
